Head, Tech Transfer Office, IP Management Cell, IIT Madras

Dr. Dara Ajay leads the Intellectual Property (IP) Management Cell of the Technology Transfer Office at IIT Madras. He is an accomplished IP, Technology Transfer (TT), and Business Development (BD) professional with a multidisciplinary background as a registered pharmacist, patent analyst, and technology scout. His expertise spans across various IP domains, particularly in Chemical, Biological, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Bioengineering patents. Dr. Ajay brings a comprehensive understanding of patent law and possesses substantial experience in technology licensing, commercialization, and strategic IP management.
